Like all of you know destiny rewards are based on luck. Do you really think that this is the best system? Some of the weapons like the vex or the fatebringer require you to do specific task, and I think that this would be the best method and it should be applied to every or nearly every gun, also I think thar the best players in a crisol match deserve the best probabilities of getting good rewards. What do you think?

1 OdpowiedźI would prefer the drop rate for items you have already gotten 4 5 6 times to be lowered. I know most of you have a friend that has gotten the gun or armor you want so many times they have broken down more than they kept. And you have gotten the gun or armor your friend wants enough to where if you see it again you would puke. Trading isnt coming so this can be frustrating for both of you. At least if the drop rate is lowered you wont have to break down your 5th or 6th duplicate item your buddies are pining for. Every Time i have beaten crota someone got the fang. I still dont have it and i have more than 1 friend who has been breaking them down cause thats all they get. I on the other hand have gotten 5 WoC. Fun gun but who needs more than 5? I know i can break it down but i dont really need the energy either. Im not complaining as i am used to this now, just what i have observed while i play.

1 OdpowiedźThere is no "best" system, but this seems a fair system to me. Everybody has a chance to win no matter what.

3 OdpowiedziI prefer semi-weighted rewards. I.e, it's still random" but those who perform better (more kills, fewer deaths, most damage done, etc) should have a better chance at getting better rewards. Random can be fair. Completely random can not.

3 OdpowiedziYes, random rewards can be a good thing when executed properly.

3 OdpowiedziNot the best system IMO. I like the RNG concept with some intelligence built into it, like a weighted stack. After becoming familiar with much of the content I typically start chasing a certain list of loot so I have a purpose to keep playing. But when you rely on a pure RNG roll the fact is, like Roulette, that you are no more closer to your goal on the 15th time around as you were on your first time in. If there was some intelligence built in to 'devalue' certain items in the loot table for a player that has just received an item, or items received multiple times, or prioritize another item that hasn't dropped after grinding the same content it would give players hope that their item is attainable. Just build some hope into the RNG algorithm. Whatever - God I'm board with this post already.

5 OdpowiedziThe problem isn't RNG, it isn't even the drop rates. The problem is the limitations. The Raid and Nightfall are easily the best places to get top tier loot, but you can only play them once a week per character. If you get nothing of value then you are S.O.L, better wait till next week. Why can we only get 100 marks in a week, Limits on Glimmer and Vault space means we have to cannibalize anything that isn't high end. If this wasn't the cast it would be a lot more enjoyable. But everything we do a raid or a nightfall and get nothing we feel cheated, which in turn makes us hate the game.

5 OdpowiedziRNG would not be a problem if two things were changed: 1. If the drop rate were increased to the point where every crucible player received a drop every game, and PVP drops occurred at least once every ten enemies that you killed. (Keep the proportion of White/Green/Blue/Purple, but make exotics a possible drop) 2. If there was enough content to keep us from getting bored with the drops. Trading, in conjunction with the other two changes, would help, but it isn't as important as variety and a healthy drop rate.

6 OdpowiedziRng has been around for quite awhile, although it's something new to consoles, which is why I think there are so many complaints about it from people because they aren't used to the concept. They aren't going to change the core aspect of the game because people aren't happy that the rewards are random. If the game did give out the reward to everyone for completing the challenge, there wouldn't be any replay value to the game and people wouldn't have reasons to play after a bit.

1 OdpowiedźI say no, because one can play the VoG as much as he can, but still don`t get the vex or fatebringer. This cannot be right, eventually people just give up. I`d rather work for it, just like the current exotic weapon bounties.

10 OdpowiedziRNG only works with trading.

1 OdpowiedźRandom rewards encourage repetitive, addictive behavior. Destiny is nothing but a slot machine.

Yes. You're supposed to grind.

3 OdpowiedziHmm food for thought
