I do agree that this season is worse. Why? 1) Mod + ability nerfs (my god, why) 2) Focusing cost too high, with no increase in engrams 3) Recycled content from forsaken, and no new additions to coil. We essentially had to run it for 5 weeks now - the only "refreshing" mission was Starcrossed 4) Way less cutscenes compared to eg. Season of the Haunted Unless they pull an ace out of their sleeves midway through (such as a reprised raid or content a la Dares of Eternity with new exotic armor and weapons + a massive balancing patch while also listening to community feedback, imagine that), most players will quit and not come back for final shape. I still haven't pre-ordered and won't because I'm so disappointed with Bungie and the direction it is going both within the company and the game.
