Wow bungie IB ornaments don't unlock automatically you still have to buy them with synthweave
This is just sad at this point. Like the ornaments are years old and you still milk the community for money smh

This was never for universal ornaments. It was for the year 1 ornaments that only worked on Iron Banana armor. People who didn't play in D2 year 1, or didn't get these ornaments the first time, may not understand at first. It's similar to how the y1 faction ornaments only work on faction armor. Bungie probably should have anticipated this confusion and explained a bit more.
