I knew what they meant when the TWID mentioned the returning Armor Sets, but Bungie did literally use the wording "ornaments" instead of "armor sets" which probably has some players confused. Ornaments only drop from limited sources, but not ritual engrams, so Iron Banner engrams can only ever give weapons and armor. Using them to unlock older armor sets simply gives you the armor piece, which then allows you to use Synthweave to turn it into a Universal Ornament. Bungie really needs to work on their explanations for things, and be consistent in their language for describing things, such as the slang some players use. *Correction, they are indeed marked as Ornaments in game and with their icon when unlocked, my apologies!
