I think we are getting 4-5 exotic weapons this season. It’s a similar situation to Seraph last year.
What we know of so far is
Dragons Breath
Wish Bringer
(Unknown Dungeon Rocket)
What else I think could be coming
Secret mission exotic
Extra exotic to hold us over till Final Shape.

but the dungeon exotic is [b]not[/b] a part of the season. It's sold separately if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, you’re right, but when looking at a season, you look at all exotics coming out over the period. Season of the Plunder released Touch of Malice and Delicate Tomb, and while ToM is a raid weapon, it was developed for season of the plunder, along with the Taken King.

So was this season supposed to cost less than 15 bucks to compensate us for the lack of exotic armor? And why did we get exotic armor in season of the deep even though the dungeon Ghosts of the Deep was also being worked on. Mind you we also got a secret mission that rewarded an exotic weapon.

All I can say is that Deep was an exception, along with Defiance. This is off the butt end of low player mentality (Plunder) which has people wanting more secret missions and more stuff, so Bungie put a renewed focus on it.
