Trapper's Ambush still don't work with Focusing Strike and Momentum Transfer
Both mods never worked with Trapper's Ambush, not even after the first "fix". you "waste" an melee charge and doesn't recover energy for neither of grenade or ability, it's kinda amazing that the uncharged melee works and with the new update is even more counter intuitive.
