How TF are you gonna have Togetherness as a modifier in a SOLO activity?
What brain trust thought this was a cool idea??
🙄😡
-
And they wonder why we'll is used all the time
-
Modificato da Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 11/30/2023 5:01:47 PMThis and attraction are the worst. Make it more challenging because of the enemy behavior and light mechanics. Not because of some arbitrary handicap that hinders what we’re normally capable of. *attrition
-
If it was actually useful for a fireteam to always stay together, it could be ok. But staying together often means dying together, unless there’s a well of radiance or rift to stand in. Playing as a team doesn’t mean staying together, but working together, often in different areas on the map. So togetherness is the most stupid and useless/hindering modifier there is, and we’ve wanted it to be gone for years. Bungie is listening though, yeah right!
-
For solo playing it just makes the game unnecessary difficult
-
Bungo at their brightest lately. I remember many of the complaints on stupidity and lack of thinking in the early days of D1. But dang lately? Yep dead slugs are smarter! All the more proof NO ONE TESTS THE GAME!!! They may play it, rarely, but never really test it. Proof - every update ever given!
-
Togetherness is such a bs debuff imo. That’s why I run devour and something like thorn or crimson to keep heals going at all times with little to no need for reloading
-
Modificato da SNAFUDILLIGAF: 12/1/2023 2:28:52 PMI love how it says drifting apart when your soloing the coil too makes me lmao. Get rid of togetherness once and for all. ARE YOU LISTENING BUNGIE??????
-
Yeah togetherness does not belong in an activity that scales down for solo players.
-
I thought oh cool, I can just do this solo. Nice added feature, an actual win. Then I saw drifting apart and no regen. WTF! So much for giving them the W. It's scary to think they let go of the right people.
-
Be good in a group if being close together doubled regen and reload, but move too far away and it reverts to normal. Something to use tactically, risk of splash damage/grenade vs boost not another damn in game nerf. Solo it should be replaced with damage/regen buff the longer you stay alive
-
They're not bright there. This game is nothing but insane hoards of enemies and massive splash damage. Staying together is about the dumbest possible route for every single activity in Destiny. The literal only time its acceptable is in a Well. That's it.
-
shows that there is nobody proof reading their work.
-
I like this idea for group play, but if it's showing up solo that should be replaced with something else that makes sense for solo.
-
"It's not the devs, it's the leadership"
-
Sounds like a typical Bungie move
-
Agree. Togetherness is terrible for solo activity and for matchmade activites. While we're at it, having revive tokens in a matchmade activity is pretty dumb too. Now you're whole lot of tokens is at the mercy of whoever joins on you and you have no control. At that point you're basically forcing people into private and LFG groups.
-
Thumbs up this needs to be thrown in the trash can. It’s pure bull -blam!-
-
Hold on, multiplicity doesn't take into account togetherness when solo? That's actually wild lol
-
In your dying breath, a guardian sees an open spot in your fireteam and joins. This is what we call "Destiny Magic"
-
Modificato da A_mo: 11/30/2023 12:59:03 PMIt's just an annoying one they throw in there. But if you're dying a lot at least you can know why. So it's not really bad when everyone is learning and everyone leaves little pieces of their power out and watches as other people pick them up. For all manner of preposterous reasons that no one should ever pretend like they could possibly understand. "We will respond by putting little pieces of our power out and then seeing if we might have to pimp slap thummmmm!" "They will never suspect how much power we could just foist into their laps!"
-
Modificato da BurningWidow: 11/30/2023 11:08:56 AMIs it in a solo activity or something you are choosing to do solo? There is a difference. Edit: From reading the comments the activity scales enemies to the number of players, so it is a little of a mixed messaging.
-
You can entirely negate the effect of this modifier however it does pigeon hole the player if they wish to. Play solar with the Ember of Empyrean fragment. Yes I'm aware it stifles your subclass choice but I just want to let people know of a work around.
-
I've not see it in solo, what happens?
-
It's not a solo activity.
-
-
That's been a thing when soloing things for a long time I don't see a fix happening
