They don't decide everything, no, but if you don't think their voices bend the ears of the team more often, then I'm sorry you're deaf. I know there's more to it than just streamers, but it's just funny how as soon as one starts crying wolf, another jumps on the bandwagon, then within a month or two a change comes down the line reflecting the changes they were -blam!- about. They definitely have more say with feedback than us in the riff raff. Anyone who says otherwise, just refuses to open their eyes in the brightly lit room. This next part is mostly bitterness from me in recent tuning anmouncements. Considering bows haven't changed for 5 years, since Forsaken, and just now they're popping off? Why, after 5 years, are they being tuned? If they [i]were[/i] a problem, then surely they would have been touched sooner. All of the issues people have with them now have been around for 5 years. No one cared to use them until the range compression. Then everyone and their dog hopped into the playstyle and streamers couldn't cope with a better peak dueler than a hand cannon. Quickswapping 100% is a problem. Bows on their own barely cresting the .87 ttk with a juiced/god crafted roll? You're better off with anything else at that rate. Anyone dumb enough to get caught in the open again is fair game. If you don't build into the bow, then it isn't going to work for you. Been using bows since Forsaken, and they've never outshone anything and have cruised in their own lane. Just took one little upset and "Oh god they need to be nerfed!".

Bows have always been annoying to play against but only in intimate modes like trials or comp. They're the only primary which can deal 150 damage instantly in a single shot at any range with insane hit detection and hip fire accuracy along with decent in-air accuracy.

That's what I'm saying! They've only recently spiked because of streamers complaining and giving them coverage the way they did. They've been around for 5 years and no one has bat an eye like this in all that time. That's what cheeses the onions. As for accuracy, testing both MnK and Controller, MnK has the superior hip-fire registrarion. If you have even the outer edge of the reticle near the head on MnK, the shot with count as a headshot 90% of the time. On Controller, it has to be inside the ring to even consider a headshot.

Personally I think they've seen an uptick in usage due to changes to other weapons in the sandbox and that's why streamers are talking about them more now. It's not without cause.
