It’s not the servers. It’s not a DDOS. Didn’t you notice it happened immediately after they installed the patch to fix the funny guns? It was the patch that did this.

Or the fix to funny guns caused a very salty/petty player with the means to ddos d2 servers.

Yep. It's definitely not the new hires of the last 2+ years that were hired based on identity and not skill/experience. It's not like every update they have issues and sweep it under the rug. Bungie never lies and are perfect. Like you said, they are all of a sudden getting ddossed...

Modificato da Týr-Skadi: 9/25/2023 1:06:14 PMWell, you got me thinking. They stated, after the patch, that (still) using the wrong perks on crafted weapons will put you back to orbit. I dunno, but if they did something wrong on that end, then maybe -blam!- like this can happen. But i'm no expert, just an old scriptkid with years of xp on using computers. (Using, not programming.) (Ok, a little bit of programming then, cut and paste stuff.) But the point is: if they screwed up, they would allready know by now, and as far as i know it would not explain the connection problems. Which, by the way, were allready there before the patch, they were allways there and only got out of hand past week. I mean: right before the patch i got kicked out a lot too allready. And if i'm right people were even complaining about error codes before the patch. Also: it can be a combination of both. If the patch made the system more vulnerable, it can be both bad programming and DDOS. Besides of that: better servers and DDOS protection are allways a good thing.

1) Correlation != Causation. 2) Two things can be true at the same time. Thoughts for the day.
