The game is great, the company is trash. It is clear Bungie is making one last cash grab (The Final Shape) before completely ignoring the game.
ddos or not, there is no valid excuse for the quantity and persistant problems in the game. In it's current state, it is unplayable and people are actually pre-ordering the final expansion still.

I find it crazy that some are still putting money into a game that is broken half the time and with such stingy loot drops even on harder content. The rat hope experiment comes to mind.
