Why on earth wouldn’t they supply proof if they’re telling the truth?
They’ve given us no evidence of a DDoS attack. If anything, that right there is sufficient enough to support the idea that they’re feeding us BS once again.

Okay... let's back up for a sec. Say this was another company, another game. Same scenario. Different game. Different company. Can be any game. Can be any company. Said game is getting DDoS'd and the game's support team goes on all their socials to say, "Hey, we're aware of the login problems. It's because we're getting DDoS'd. We're taking care of it." Would you believe those words?

Based on what I've read no one would believe them anyway, so why bother?

I feel like even if we had complete, unfettered access to Bungie's offices, their Zoom calls, logs and recordings of their meetings, and even the game's code and source files, no one would believe them anyway...

Modificato da jhermannITJ: 9/23/2023 3:20:06 AMThey're not lying... it's strategic & malicious disruption to undermine Bungie's independent control. Either by a malicious 3rd party... or internally. It's the end of the fiscal year right now... 4th quarter ending with September.... I've been trying to be the Canary... THE MOST instability in the franchise's history has been happening since the Sony acquisition. Tbh, I think it's already over. They might lose control before the next dlc drops. Think about it, up to the Sony Acquistion... we were getting some of the best seasonal content EVER... Splicer... Haunted... now... it's a shell. Seemed like it might be great at the beginning... but it's pretty shallow. So, Lightfall was weak... then what? 3 seasons of weak follow-up with massive stability concerns throughout. That's 3 fiscal quarters where, I guarantee, they were treading water respective the independent operating agreement. That's all it takes to lose your studio. I've seen it happen before.
