The only reason I think some people are skeptical is simply because of Bungie's track record. No real way to know either way unless you're on the inside, but Bungie as a company doesn't really have a great history when it comes to being transparent.

"Track records" and "past histories" are not the same as real proof of the current predicament, though.

Ok well there is no proof either way in this situation. Do you have any proof that they are getting DDOSed? I was just trying to help you understand why a lot of people aren't taking what Bungie says at face value anymore, nobody here really knows one way or the other what is really happening.

I get that. I appreciate it. But I've played games and used websites that completely went under due to DDoS attacks. They all do the same thing. When I first got my PS4, PSN was under a heavy DDoS attack that lasted for an entire month. Archive of Our Own recently had a string of DDoS attacks a couple weeks ago. All I'm saying is there shouldn't be THIS kind of backlash accusing Bungie of lying. They're not even doubting! They're just straight up saying "they're lying" and all they have to point to are other times when they supposedly lied! That's crossing the line, man!
