They tried doing that but it just led to people sending the staff abusive messages. Hell, the support staff in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Topics?pNumber=0&tg=Help]help forum[/url] can't help people without getting any abuse.

It likely is. The staff don't clock in to be abused, they clock in to do their work in a safe environment. The company has a responsibility to look after their staff. Distancing themselves and only posting through anonymous accounts (such as BNGHELP1) is likely one of the methods they're taking to cut down on the staff being abused. On Twitter, they used to talk to us about Destiny stuff through their personal accounts but since the abuse has gotten so bad they have stopped doing that. -
I completely agree they shouldn’t have to deal with that. I just don’t think here is any worse than Twitter. Also, they have more control in how to deal with abuse here. They did make a ‘Destiny 2 Team’ account to post on here, but we never see it.
