It shouldn't have ended with us having to kill not just the thing that connects us to the light and makes us Immortal , but our freind Ghost
It should have ended with the last city being over run by Xivus forces, and most NPCs dying
The second to last movie in a good series always has a dark ending, Avengers Infinity War, The Empire Strikes Back etc, it makes it seem like you failed, so it's more satisfying when the heroes -blam!- victory from the Jaws of defeat in the last movie

I agree with this. That sounds even better. In my opinion the witness is kinda lame not really cool just mysterious but calus we know a lot and had a badass voice and it would be cool to have him as the final raid boss for the first and final raid.
