"Yall" is also grammatically correct. Sorry you can't accept that.

Sorry I am from the Uk and we always used the queen’s language by saying you all grow up
-
Also I've heard plenty of adults say "yall" and plenty of kids say "you all" so you telling me to grow up and use "you all" instead of "yall" really doesn't make sence

Have you ever looked up the etymology of the colloquial term "y'all?" It's actually kind of interesting; although, I'm somewhat weird, so I could be wrong.

Modificato da Loneshadow555: 9/22/2023 7:13:18 AMAs far as I'm concerned, it's a contraction of "you all" kind of like "you'd" is with "you would" or "you had"

Modificato da jmann43b: 9/22/2023 7:17:40 AMWell, that's what it means, but some linguists think it traces back to the Scots-Irish "ye aw," which basically means the same thing, while others think it has origins stemming from African Americans with -blam!- origins. Like I said, I'm weird and find strange things interesting. Edit: Apparently the name of a country is a blammable word. Who knew?

Ight, but I'm from the US where "yall" is grammatically correct. You can use "you all" or "yall" they both mean the same thing, just ones shorter, like instead of "you have" you'd say" you've"
