Thorn and last word are just fine without a catalyst! HC have been slowly taking over pvp again . I mean HC are easy to use with high aim assist , zero flitch 🤷🏼♂️

He’s not wrong though lol. Hand cannons are easy to use and really forgiving compared to every other weapon in the game. I literally have used ace of spades for years and got bored so I started using other weapons just for giggles.

Of course it would be easy for you if Ace is your frame of reference lmao there’s no debate to mount at that point. Ace basically plays the game for you. But that’s something that most aren’t willing to admit. That said, I would like to point out that HCs are the only primary that doesn’t benefit off of the full auto setting. All shots have to be lined up. (I don’t count exotics, because Bungie themselves said exotics are made to operate outside of their fundamental rules, for any genius that wants to bring up TLW.) You can hold shoot with any other (legendary) primary and be okay. Why did I bring that up? Great question. Well based on that fact, the reverse of his statement can be made as well. All other primaries (outside of legendary HCs) do not take skill, especially with scouts having good options now (really Box Breathing in all reality), autos are doing well, every Pulse comes with Headseeker so you’re literally rewarded for not hitting crits, SMGs continue to run the game. His statement falls pretty flat if we’re going to consider actual facts of how the game is actually being played. But if we’re basing this off of his own experiences, and emotions, then anything can be made to sound true if you put a little bit of animosity and salt behind it. If he’s complaining about HCs in a SMG meta than that’s a clear skill issue. Staying in line of sight against someone who has to pace the recoil of 3-4 shots to kill you, while you stand there and not play cover, clearly means you’re not a good player, or you’re not confident in your shots, respectfully. He might have to go to see a therapist when Thorn becomes actual meta next season.

Every single weapon is easy to use in this game... sorry but saying hc is the only easy weapon is a straight up bs claim when every weapon can just as easily kill someone. The only difference with hcs compared to other weapons is the user.
