So you feel bad for Bungie for being DDOS'd?
Why?
They literally can do what EVERY company does and pay a fee to a company that prevents DDOS.
Literally could pay CloudFlare to stop this, but they won't, cause they have your money already why would they spend some of it on making sure you get the service?

So Bungie claimed it isn't their fault because of glitched weapon issues, it's hackers. But that is still their fault cause that excuse also suggests they messed up and caused this.
Bungie lies compulsively, no one claimed they are good at crafting lies. They aren't Savathun.

To whomever launched this most recent series of DDOS attacks, I just want to say…thank you. I don’t have the technical skills to punch Bungie in the beans, but I really want to. This last week I had to suddenly go out of town for work. I really wanted Warden’s Law, but Bungie’s thought process is, “Aww, you have a job? A life? You can’t just play whenever you want? Too bad, sucker! Now pay us. How about a big pile of FOMO instead?”. And this series of attacks pops up just in time for me to hope that someone at Bungie is feeling some of what they put us through. So whomever is throwing this tantrum and unloading their nerd rage, you speak for those of us without a voice. And those of you who defend Bungie at every turn, I hope this hurts you most of all. I hope this ruins your little timegated goodie plans and Bungie tells you to go pound sand.

Ddos attack ? And you know this how ? Almost everyone , especially streamers were abusing the weapon glitch , don't you think that alone would cause some server issues and potentially break the game if everyone constantly does it ? It was like there was nothing else to do , if that would not cause any harm then why did bungie nerf it after 2 days ? Some glitches are only nerfed after a month ... I believe it was breaking the game .

1 RispondiThis is a tough topic, DDoS is tough on all of us. They have lawyers, access to the government intelligence agencies through Sony. The DDoSers are gonna get caught, and spend time in jail. We just have to deal with their passive aggressive nature in the meanwhiles. Could cross international lines, but they'll get what they deserve. You can't hide from the CIA / NSA / FBI / MI7. Bungie has the resources....its just a matter of time. Wouldn't want to be them....

I don't feel bad about bungie's top echelon, but the thing is, they're not the ones doing the grunt work despite getting the highest salary I do feel bad for those who work the SFX, VFX, weapon design, armor designs, etc teams who are stuck having to deal with sometimes getting put on crunch time, same goes to the networking team that must be working overtime to figure out a way to stop whoever is DDoSing them from being able to even get anywhere near being able to communicate with their servers Be mad at the top echelon, not the bottom everyday average joe/jane working their jobs (visuals, sounds, map design, etc, these people deserve praise)

When Bungie has the time to focus on fixing weapon glitches and is active working cause of an edge glitch which still work for me ddos sounds more like an excause. Never heard anytime of a ddos attack which was not completly fixed and future prevented in 24 hours and here its almost 3 days ....

2 Risposte100% this! they are the only game outside of 2018 that still has this problem.... it is not some angry person or group out to get Bungie by DDOS attacks.... bet if they lost half their player base because of the disconnects it would magically stop happening. personally, I'm pretty close to moving on to something else if this continues much longer. it's been 8 or 9 days. u get going 30 mins into NF ...boss room...."trying to connect to Bungie servers" is the real boss fight. once in a while I get but this is way too frustrating. If they really wanted to fix it, they could... It is just them saying FU we are too busy figuring out how to get more $ out of the player base, we will fix or not fix whatever we feel like.
