Navota was added into the strike as they wanted a lore reason for it to return but for the other strikes they just copy and pasted with a few changes. (And yes I do know they didn't just copy and paste as they'd have to re-do the code but they still had a base for what they needed)

If what the other lore nerds are saying is true, then Bungie has no excuse not to bring Omnigul back especially if she can just self rez.
