The number of times they have outright lied or deceived the community in the past makes any statement from them unbelievable. Do I believe someone could ddos their servers? Certainly, given they’re held together with string and failed all on their own repeatedly last season. And that’s the point. Bungie’s servers are capable of failing all by themselves. This is the proverbial smoke Bungie are blowing up our collective backsides.
