I'm sorry brother/sister, but if Bungie were to be charitable to veterans, they'd give us something in-game as well to show their support. But nope, we get the opportunity to give them money to give back to us. I don't need to have Bungie help me with my support. As an Airborne Infantryman, I appreciate the emote, but really, it's a joke playing at the heart strings of the sentimental to get more money from us. Who would ever know that they donated it to anyone. It's not like Bungie is very transparent about anything.

Personally I don’t need or want recognition either, but it is a good gesture so I don’t want to come across as ungrateful when it happens. However just checking out the organization it really does appear to be a very good cause for vets who need some help adjusting back into civilian life.

True. But the state I'm in verifies veterans' status and applies that status to our IDs. It is on our driver's licenses. And you're also making a good point about the gesture. It's just a game. I definitely don't need to create more issues than already exist. LOL. Good call on the map check. I've reoriented and am back on mission. That is ...when we can login to the servers and actually play again.
