Ornaments in Eververse usually take a season break before becoming available again for silver.
As Starfire's ornament was added last season, the earliest it'll likely be available again will be next season

It seems to be a bug on PC because I purchased it day 1 when it came after out after the nerf and so did my mate on PS5 but he still has his and mine is gone from everywhere; inventory, preview, and the even the store.

If whatever reason the item has became locked again then it wont show up for you right now as the ornament isn't currently available for purchase. It'll still show up for your friend because the ornament will be listed as unlocked/obtained on their account If you have anything that shows you did have it (ie screenshot showing it being equipped or it being in your recent items) then you should make a separate post and include the evidence so that someone at Bungie can look into it. Unfortunately theres a near 0 chance that they'll reissue it to you if it does in fact turn out to be a bug that relocked it.

Yeah no. Been taking lots of screenshots of cool loadout looks but only after that one. What’s odd it’s not even available on the preview on the item like other ornaments are for a variety of items

They don't show you ornaments that aren't currently available for silver (if its currently available that week for bright dust then it also displays that) It'll show again on Starfire once it is available again - which should be next season for silver. Right now because I didn't buy the Gyrfalcons or Blight Ranger ornaments - neither of them currently show up on the ornament slot because they too are not available in Eververse right now but once they are available again they'll show.
