Quitting D2 is like leaving a toxic relationship. You know it needs to happen, its not the same as it used to be. You want to love it, but its not good for you. Its getting to expensive and youre just feeling used.
We all see the end coming, get help before its to late.
EDIT: ITS A JOKE

Is love and hate together

She did the new dungeon, hated it, and posted in the Discord this morning, "I hate myself just enough to do it again." If that's not this whole player base in a single sentence, I don't know what is.

Plus the catering to sweats who are a minority compared to the casual players

Destiny Good, Destiny Feels Bad, Player Smashs TV, Player Feels Bad, Player Touchs Grass, Player Feels Sad. Player Buys New TV, Destiny Good

The sad true is, we play too much Destiny. And we know it. XD

Modificato da Flakeez: 6/3/2023 3:15:00 PMJoke but still true lol

Hmm no it’s not . If anyone is in a relationship with destiny ….seek help asap
-
The fact so many of you let this game consume you speaks volumes to how bad your home life is. It’s pathetic ya need to get help 😂

Exactly

It's not a joke, this is 100% accurate.

Modificato da Fujimoose: 6/2/2023 3:24:46 AMIt’s a joke but it’s also the truth. I used to grind out d1 all the time, did all the raids with my clan. I maxed out my power level. I even went flawless once. I got carried although I did turn a match around. But the grind is what broke the spell. I grinded for a god roll eyasluna all through the taken king until d2 came out. I never got the roll. I only had a few eyaslunas drop. I got a god roll longbow synthesis and matador too late and the special ammo changes in pvp sucked. I came into d2 already a little salty. I did some grinding but the quest that was one of the final nails in the coffin was the redrix broadsword quest. By the time I got the weapon I couldn’t even stand playing destiny. My point is the grind is too much although it’s getting better. People grind to achieve obtaining specific loot. Some people have more patience than others. I don’t want things handed to me because I don’t mind grinding for loot. My question is how much grind is enough? And how much is too much? I do like destiny though and I still come back and play it but only for a bit. Then I get to a point where I get tired for a while and delete it. I keep on top of news to see if bungie makes cool changes I would like to try with hope it gets me playing a bit more again.
-
I’ve been cheating on D2 with Dead Island 2. No Regerts.
-
The ones saying its a terrible analogy probably are the same people blindly loving everything bungie does
-
I get that op was joking, but in all seriousness... if all my friends quit D2, I would follow as well. The only reason I still play is because I know they're still playing.

Some Users: “Was that a fly that flew over my head?” Me: “No, that was a joke…”

As the saying goes. "I hate Destiny, it's my favorite game."

Modificato da Talia Sendua: 6/1/2023 2:08:21 PM
We all see the end coming, get help before its to late.
I don't see this as a joke. Very likely when Final Shape has taken place I will quit the game for good. I said to myself years ago I will finish my journey in the game. With FS being the end, that is in conclusion the end for me with Destiny 2... Very likely.

funny cuz true.

Took me months to get over Ms Pac-Man. Now this. 😔 -
It really isn't. Ridiculous analogy.

Instead of complaining on the forums for a game you don't like but can't quit playing you should talk to a therapist because you clearly have an issue with addiction that you need to handle.
-
This is disgusting that gamers are misusing the word abuse in an relationship and seriously need to grow up Where there are people who gets abused by their spouses on an daily basis so stop comparing video games to real violence in an relationship.

I mean the end is already here. Since 2020 actually. We are treated as cash cows ever since, the game is on life support, only untalanted junior devs keep reissuing old content. The good devs got shifted to their upcoming games a while ago. So which end exactly is "coming"? They just keep feeding the addicts with false expectations and promises so they don't jump the ship. Happens every year. That's how they manipulate the human brain. Same with their false advertisement that destiny 2 is far from over after the final shape. Yea my ###, i believe it when i see it. They probably release D3 by then and sunset everything we had for the 3rd time and we will regrind hawkmoon and ace of spades in the third game. And then we can explore Mars again FOR THE THIRD TIME. And then they vault everything again because the game is getting "too big". This developer is horrible.

Been saying this for last few years
