Sorry for the frustration! I don't think you'll be able to sign into the D2 Companion on Android if you transfer the web auth to another browser on Windows. You'll need to complete the process with a browser on your Android device.
To troubleshoot, you can try installing another browser on Android like Firefox or Firefox Focus, but the normal Chrome browser should be fine too.
Can you try signing into the [url=https://www.bungie.net/]Bungie.net[/url] website with different browsers on your Android device, and see if that works? And also try signing into a 3rd-party Destiny 2 app or website like Destiny Item Manager or Light.gg?

Hey just messed around with it a bit and opened the link in a new tab, which ended up working after a significant wait on website speed, I would assume, on Steam's end. Either way, the main issue, in case you see this problem again, I believe was that I was using chrome through Opera GX, instead of just chrome on its own.
