2.5%, that’s literally not an exotic anymore, that’s an armor mod. Lmfao

Bungie has no idea about "middle ground". Nerf should be redefined to Smashed.
-
The nerf hasn’t come yet and I’m already liking the sunbracers build. So I can just spam solar grenades and do a lot of damage to bosses
-
You had starfire for a year and it’s time for something else.
-
Honestly couldn’t be happier to never be forced to wear it again.
-
Classic Bungie taking it too far and instead of tuning something (that I do acknowledge is too strong right now) they nerf it into oblivion and then it’s irrelevant. They could have started with a slight nerf, maybe 5-10% instead, and gone from there if it needed more.
-
(I am a warlock main) I like the nerf it was way to strong a 2.5 is like the strand grenade fragments so its fine and kill regen 20% and we still have 2 grenade so its still à good exotic
-
Once again, Bungie is blaming the equipment we have and not the game itself. It's not our fault you guys made Nezzy a joke.
-
I find it absolutely hilarious that players complained about a PVE starfire build doing to much damage.
-
Lol, it's going to be funny seeing people struggle without a crutch that should've been nerfed ages ago. Making get good with the game instead of feeding off of an exotic that was broken asf from the start. I deleted my Starfire weeks ago and I'm doing just fine without that busted PoS.
-
It's time to EMBRACE the SUN
-
I think a fine enough change would be to make it so you can’t benefit from multiple damage sources at the same time. Combining witherhoard with either an smg or Wolfpack rockets is what was really sending grenade generation through the roof. Honestly if the just disabled witherhoard working with it it would most likely be fine. Maybe a little adjustment. But I think all warlocks can agree on one thing. Why wasn’t apotheosis veil mentioned at all?
-
Sanguine buff looks like it might be nice tho
-
Dudes are gonna be in your replies saying how it's fine, just how they say everything Bungie does is fine. No wonder the game is a shambles

Modificato da Sturm with no Drang: 5/11/2023 11:33:25 AMI find it funny whenever somebody says that Bungie “favors X class”. Like, bro. You even play the game or read the patch notes? They don’t like anyone and try to make the game less fun to play for just about everyone. These nerfs are just 100% swing and a miss every other time we see them.
-
I quit my warlock cuz of junk like this… Also they ruined Osiris so that’s what pushed my warlock off the cliff and into the giant dumpster.
-
They want it to be more based on getting kills now rather than doing damage. Get ready to dust off those sunbracers
-
Bruh, brah, bra, bre, bro, bri, bru.
-
Ya, they made it garbage, just like they did to heart of inmost light. The only time bungie uses moderation is in content creation.

I just got back into destiny and ended up running warlock as main to round out the team I typically play with. I'm with a lot of people on this, 20% was a bit much and it needed to be tuned. However dropping it to the 2.5% is a death sentence, please raise it back up to 10% and see how it goes before executing the only good exotic for a well build. Getting an ornament isn't worth it, lol. How about a diminishing returns on 'nade damage for a cool down period or something instead of making it way weak. Or how about adding a second a option to well. One where you drop the well, much like a Rift and allies can run through it, pick up a buff that provides a reduced effectiveness of well, but makes it more akin to wandering. A lot of people are saying it gives playable options back to warlocks now. No reason to run well anymore, so they can play other classes or other builds.....not really. Think about it guys, they haven't removed the other players need/want for well for end game stuff, they just reduced what the person playing the well-lock can do with that build.....by a lot. If you wanted to tone down Well, then tune Well. As it is, teams are still going to want Well and you're still gonna get booted by master players if you're not running it, who cares if the build is not as good for the person running the 'lock, the well is still going to help other players play their best and this nerf doesn't affect them it only reduced your DPS as a team member, not your protections. At least with Starfire; as it is, you could build for Well, playing a much needed and sought after ability for most other players to survive end game stuff and still contribute with grenades and other things to provide DPS and protection. Now we're really just gonna be a shield. It will be more boring to play the class because we will have to drop the well, and litterally just spray and pray and not move anywhere.... All you other class mains are saying hey it's good it needed to happen. Wait to see what it's like to run some of this stuff without well. Unless you're a ridiculously-good player this is gonna be earth shattering for endgame content for your standard player. No one is gonna wanna play a well-lock anymore, but the need for well is still there. Whatever, I don't want to hear your "get-good kid" nonsense. Casual players like me and my team are gonna feel the impact the most, because we can't/won't spend tons of hours on the games getting into and mastering the micromechanics. We want to log on and enjoy the end game stuff, relax, have fun we are loosing some that.

I am no supporter of these nerfs. As a Titan main for me Warlocks' Starfire nerf is what I suffered from with Heart of Inmost Light. One of my most favourite Exotics being nerfed into oblivion and hence not used anymore. Do I like it? No. Is it in line with Bungie's ever lasting policy of change and nerfing everything players like into the ground? Yes.
-
Bungie ruined another overused exotic what else is new
-
Bungie seems to follow a simple strategy when it comes to "Tuning". If it will increase diversity (Grind) then nerf that sucker into the dirt. If something is fun (Efficient) construct a reason to tune it.
-
I like to compare the three classes we have to understand what they did: For the Titan we have a very high dps output if we combine barrier+rockets+crash+cuirass. For Hunter we can go with rockets+golden+celestial or something with stareater. Warlock so far was grenades+demo_rocket+special+starfire+the right rotation to not -blam!- up dps. If we only look at burst damage against champions or similar trash mobs.. sure a starfire warlock can generate a lot of dmg with a rift and a bit of special But if we compare total actions for all the other classes its noticable that a warlock needs more than just one button to activate a super. So what good dps options are we left with.. maybe sunbracer and blops. That said i never understood why a nova is one of the weakest supers in the game .. it doesnt take much to look up what a nova actually is.

"we don't want to destroy its utility so we totally neutered it to worthlessness" Bungie logic
-
Modificato da Deus EP: 5/11/2023 11:39:09 PMFor some guardians, $100 for DLC and Season Passes was the price to be told “F. You” …abusive

The nerf only affects the fusion grenade regeneration on weapon damage, it doesn't change the damage of the grenade at all. This just makes it less spamable against single targets for prolonged periods, which is totally justified
