Ho boy do I agree with this. Commendations is half baked at best, and it’s tied to Guardian Ranks, which is insanely frustrating. 2 commendations to give out with Gambit and Crucible? Ok so now let me check the screen to see how everyone scored. Whoops, took too much time, now I can’t hand anything out. I’ll try again. Next round over, it’ll gotta do this quicker. Oh, thoughtful and joy filled? I mean they killed other enemies, not sure how I can mark someone as thoughtful. It’s thoughtful of them to kill enemies so they don’t kill me. But then that always happens, so it’s always thoughtful for everyone. Ok now I gotta hand out…..2? But there’s 5 others in this crucible match? Long story short, why was this system put in place to begin with in such a state that it makes it almost unusable? Did no one have a round table talk about this and actually go through what works and what doesn’t before implementing it? I’m just beside myself with it. And then to tie it to Guardian Ranks? Who thought of that?!?!? My god….and I’ve never been overly critical of this game. I’ve loved it from the beginning. But what’s been given, guys have more meetings please.

  • Just more lazy bs from Bungie. Instead of making new content they gave us a list of old things to accomplish.. to get a new ranking when we have triumph scores that literally tell us exactly how much our guardians have accomplished. Why exactly do we need a new ranking system? And the commendations lol is just hilarious as its a participation trophy to hand out.. do you even have time to look at what you are handing out and to who most of the time?
