There is no secondary effect such as the free reload or free restoration of melee charge either in practice or in the ability text. It also takes a fair bit longer to recharge than the hunter dodge. This must be a bug as Bungie cErTaInLy WoUlDnT gIvE hUnTeRs PrEfErEnTiAl TrEaTmEnT!
