Unsure what you mean about them being messed up? Can you elaborate? Keen to hear your opinion. Many have tried to make a good 40k game... Many have failed... :(

Warp, ptsd (Istvaan), I think there are other examples. I’m sure there were issues with previous iterations, but that is by the by. There’s been a couple of reasonable games, but like I said, IF they sorted their s..t out……..

Ahh maybe with 30k (in particular the Iron Hands) but in the main their psycho-conditioning and massive intellectual power on a whole take care of that. Remember, they're post-human so don't think like we would about pretty much everything but i get how that could seem messed up. The Thunder-Warriors were very different from the Astartes too ;) Still, i get ya. :)

40k law is fascinating, a little bonkers in places, but so rich it’s begging to be done properly. Could you imagine a well done mmo or Destiny style game, it’s tragic it hasn’t and may never see the light of day.

I spent a week watching Byf like 40k history/lore vids. Was gonna read them, but I’ve got 3yr old, 4 month old, a wife and full time job, so I just did a crash course on all things 40k, may be in a year or so. As a side, are they still on about that live action Eisenhorn series?

Think so, though he was never my thing. Had jobs in sales so the audiobooks were great for all the driving I was doing. :)

Eternal Crusade was supposed to be WoW but 40k. It ran into dev problems though and ended up a shell of what it should have been. Can totally imagine it though haha, they'd need Nasa grade servers to cope with big fights haha!
