Eramis had the Technocrat create tech for her council to wield stasis. By the time that she sends Atraks to revive Taniks, it's established that Phylaks and the Technocrat had their own stasis tech. Why didn't Atraks bring any of that tech down to the crypt?
Sure, she's having fun in her new robot body,
and cutting the face off her old one
but she can't pass the stasis tech off to her 2nd in command down there?
Considering how important of a plot point it was that House Salvation could wield the Darkness, it doesn't make sense that the culmination of the campaign would see none of that power being utilized.
Additionally, several minibosses in the Glassway use Stasis to slow our progress towards the Vex portal. How is protecting the Vex portal more important than protecting the Crypt?
-
She was probably due to recieve Stasis after she'd gone through Exo conversion and revived Taniks. We got in the way when we stormed the Crypt
-
The deep stone crypt cannonically is after we killed eramises lieutenants and made sure the house of dusk can't weild darkness against us.
-
Didn't you hear? That's what they're doing for Master difficulty lmfao

Modificato da HollowedWayfarer: 3/13/2021 6:19:05 PMI’m just glad they gave the Fallen in House of Salvation their clothes back.
-
Because the technocrat is dead. Eramis couldn’t even control it after. So the ones in dsc definitely can’t.
-
Well, 1. The Fallen Required Tech to Use Stasis as we don't. 2. Like Earims, her Gauntlet Malfunctioned causing it to back fire. 3. So after that, I highly doubt any Eliksni would touch that Tech.
-
I suppose she thought she wouldn't need it, since she had so many replicas of herself.
-
Cause incompetence.
-
Interesting...
-
But did she had it? Maybe she wasnt given one.
-
Maybe she used it to revive taniks?
-
I know you posted this for the lore, But please, Don't give Bungie any ideas 😂
-
Why don't the vex just send thousands of Wyverns after us?
-
Modificato da Yander-7: 3/12/2021 9:36:57 PMDude it's bungie. the only role playing that goes on is by the people that think Destiny is an actual rpg that would have cool shit like this. D1 was on that road, but D2 ruined it more and more over time
-
Bungie "D'oh! We forgot something. "
-
They probably thought people would complain , imagine carrying a bomb and get frozen But I think if an enemy had the same abilities we do it would make for more interesting fights, sort of like in Outriders where you fight enemy altered and captains that have abilities you have to interrupt or you will never kill them
-
Yeah that's... That is kinda weird now that you mention it Also am I wrong or didn't Bungie say that throughout this year of seasons the enemy races would be reacting to and requiring stasis?
-
Tbh when they mentioned Stasis as a new Element I was under the impression new weapons/enemies and abilities, so far there's only been on Stasis related weapon. I get there's some boundaries, lore wise, on why we cannot infuse Stasis to some weapons but it would be nice since elements don't really affect PvP so there's no worry there and if there's new Stasis enemy types then there would be more variable for PvE tactics. Ahh well, it is what it is.

I mean, Phylaks had just gotten hers when we arrived to Riis-Reborn. She’s the greatest warrior Eramis had, the general of all her forces, and yet it took that long for Eramis to grant her a shard. Why would Atraks get one sooner? Out of Eramis’ council, she was something of a secondary member, a wildcard. It doesn’t make logical sense for that to be the case. I simply don’t think that she or Taniks had access to shards of Darkness because they focused on utilizing the Darkness to modify their mechanical upgrades. After all, Exo creation requires Darkness energy. I think Atraks used Darkness to transform and strengthen herself, not to use as an offensive weapon.

because they know stasis is annoying as f in any kind of activity
