Hoarding isn't healthy This isnt FFXIV This is a FPS Sci-Fi space shooter with seasonal loot rotations... Expectations sometimes do not align with reality Destiny isn't meant to be a hoarding loot game... Destiny is meant to be Distinct Character Archetypes with a Focus on Exotics to shape a build... Even if sunsetting mattered... everything lasts an entire year... by the time the year is over you wont be using the same gear anyways... it will just be sitting in your vault... This can't be Kelly.. Kelly isn't this Funny. KG patronizes and talks down, and uses Silver Tongues to try and mix peoplea words back on them, and talks likes grinning, like hes expecting to win. The game having seasons isn't an excuse, the things we get shouldn't be given a damn "timer" on it if the next 2 seasons after they bring them back If they want to bring back weapons they SHOULD START WITH reissuing all of the damn Y1 stuff (Leviathan, strike specific weapons etc) with the new system we have now instead of doing a horrible job at it, sunsetting wouldn't even be an issue if when they brought back something the EXACT SAME 1:1 gear piece got retroactively updated, they did it with raid gear during season of Arrivals, they're able to, they can't lie and say they can't because everyone knows that's bs.

It'd be fine if they were actually giving us more new stuff. But they aren't...it's all old stuff we have. They just slapped the newer perks on them and thought we'd be happy with that. This isn't at all what players meant when we asked for DC and Moon gear to be relevant again since the activities weren't vaulted. This is a slippery slope. This shows that there is potential for some guns to be sunset and reintroduced the next season...the only difference being the little icon in the corner. As for the armor...you can never come up with an explanation that will convince me it was a good idea for armor sunsetting. This whole mess makes loot and the act of grinding for loot...worthless.

The re-addition of moon and dreaming city isn't meant for old players though It's meant for all the folks who just bought it for Christmas The fact that you can re-acquire it again if you want is a bonus, not a necessity or requirement... nobody is forcing you to replay old content, free choice... You and I have already "Gotten Our Money's Worth" ::: :::Not sure why the community is so upset new players will be able to fully enjoy the content they just purchased::: ::: Bungie is adding three new strikes next season... event specific rewards... revamping the dungeons and who knows what the season will bring... Im not sure any of the complaints on here have actually considered that they are probably just burnt out and need to take a break... 20 days till next season... Go play something else for awhile... Refresh your Spirits so to speak

Refresh your Spirits so to speak[/quote] My gear i earned from that time period should be unsunset then, even if it's in my vault, i do not give a damn IF these changes are for the new players, they can go earn theirs, the gear i ALREADY earned before them should be updated to the same new standard as theirs, period Not everyone is like you mr. "I just wear and use whatever i find and don't care much about what goes on in the game i just want to shoot aliens and eat crayons being smooth brain" ... We actually give af about our time investment, time is precious, we only have one life.

You make content for everyone or no one, there is no tier system in place here, Bungie wants to be F2P and charge a Premium for expansions, that is all on them. What is the game from a financial prospect going forward? Reward new players who give you money now and sh1t on the long time players who supported you financially way back when and when new stuff comes along? As for getting our monies worth, what the f*ck is the weather like on your planet, Destiny 2 with the exception of Forsaken has been a mess, in fact it has just been one big c0ck slap in the face from Bungie. New light is the only way to get your monies worth because you spent f*ck all. People like you are the reason we get constantly sh1t on by the so called triple AAA games publishers.

Bungie Makes Content for Its ""Paying"" Consumers... Beyond Light was a HUGE Success and Bungie is moving forward with their new business model now that they are not Beholden to Activision... It sucks for those who think Destiny is actually a F2P game... but its not... it has a free trial... like FFXIV lets you play up to a certain point... If you want to have new gear and participate in new activities you have to pay for it... I am very satisfied with Bungie's new approach to Developing this game and I am excited for the next 2 years worth of content.. Keep up the Great Work Bungie! Best Wishes Guardian 🤗

You are missing the point. We aren't mad that new players will be able to get something useful while running through the old campaigns. We are mad that our time as players is not being valued...at all. Destiny is going downhill. There just isn't a reason to play. Why bother grinding for a specific roll when it's just gonna be sunset? Why bother collecting things that you won't be able to use later? The "sunsetting" we had in Destiny 1 worked out because we got an abundance of things to replace our stuff. That simply did not happen here. Reintroducing old stuff that was originally sumset...but now it's not is incredibly souring. And the "new" strikes coming soon...are Destiny 1 strikes... Yes it's burn out. Players are quitting in droves...or at least playing way less frequently. Bungie should be trying to stop the burn outs...but unfortunately they are just speeding it up with how little content there is...especially after a major release.
