I've performed all the steps outlined in https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11876 , including a fresh install of Destiny 2. Issue started happening a few weeks ago, hadn't changed any network or system settings before this. Nothing I do seems to mitigate this issue, and I cannot log into Destiny 2 servers without getting error code chicken, effectively making this game unplayable for me.
EDIT: Issue resolved. Contrary to what the #help may suggest, the error code chicken caused here IS NOT an issue with your network. It is an issue with Nvidia Geforce experience version 461.09. I was able to reproduce and resolve this issue twice. The solution is to downgrade to the previous version, 460.89. Support from any Bungie technical support has been nonexistent, and the error code troubleshooting for chicken has been widely misleading. @kmcg2D can you try this fix, and if it works, post your graphics card model and the Geforce version you encountered the chicken, and the version that fixed it.

I second this. Tried everything. Worked fine before, now I can’t play the game at all

If you have an Nvidia graphics card (like the GTX 1660 super that I'm using) and have the most recent driver (Nvidia Geforce experience version 461.09), you will get Chicken errors or just a black/frozen screen when trying to go into a destination. Downgrading to 460.89 worked for me, able to get in and issue is seemingly resolved!

Just an update: occasionally, I'm able to get into the character selection menu. However, everything is super laggy, and the player model takes forever to load. When I try to fly into Tower, EDZ, or presumably any destination, the game crashes. There were no recent changes to my hardware or software (including driver updates, the latest being on 01/07 for Nvidia Geforce version 461.09)
