I agree on the 'fallen' and 'eliksni' point, i kinda regret how I worded the original post at this point, lmao. However, i think the two terms demonstrate the exact problem of their position in the world right now. On one hand, we have the Eliksni, a people who were once much like us until great tragedy befell them that the player seems to be expected to empathize and ally with; and then there's the fallen, monsters that eat babies and guardians are expected to shoot on sight. Makes it feel weird to play the game. Started thinking about all of this due to Crow's dialogue about trying to save Eliksni during the wrathborn hunts btw, so y'all know where I'm coming from
