Why are people saying that there is an alliance coming? Just because 4 or 5 guardians work with a group of fallen? Have you forgotten the other tens of thousands of guardians that would kill any fallen on sight or the millions of humans that utterly despise them?

I see your point, but the Destiny narrative consistently brings the player to the idea of Eliksni redemption, and Beyond Light was practically all about it. Its not really just four or five guardians having an alliance with the Eliknsi when the entire story of this expansion and its accompanying season seem to be Eliksni empathy machines.

And it's a shit story. If the fallen are to get redemption it would need to be through the mortal humans and even then the fallen have done nothing to earn redemption.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The thematic dissonance between the hostile fallen across the system and the ongoing redemption of the Eliksni through venues like the growing House Light and Variks' alliance with the Guardians is really impacting the story at this point. Im just saying its time for Bungie to commit to either an enemy fallen race, or an allied Eliksni race. Beyond light should be the last fallen themed content drop for the Destiny franchise if Bungie desires to remove this dissonance, and produce thematically cleaner stories. Besides, fallen expansions are getting boring. How many times has a new kell arisen to unite all the houses, only for us to take them out and scatter the fallen?

The house of light barely did anything, even if fallen got a little SIVA they would still be shit just like when they got a bunch of it and Variks is an enemy not an ally, we are just working with him to deal with a bigger threat. The only reason there is any talk of fallen alliance is because players force it even though it clashes with both the lore and intelligence, as far as the city cares there is not even a hint of alliance. Bungie should just have them wiped out or run away, there were even lore entries that say that they left but then this bullshit happened, I blame the player based for bungie's schizophrenic story telling.
