Because he cheated. They have a sniffer and if they find there is illegal software he’s done.
Edit: and before you say he doesn’t have illegal software and he’s never cheated, we’ve heard that from the forums before. He’s done.

And how do you think a 3rd party application does that? It taps into the game to read the data and then injects it to the game's display. Most apps like that will try to do it to other games too which causes bans for attempting to modify the game.
