*I step through the portal and look around*
“Well what’s happening here?”

You step through the portal and see an alien looking city, with a giant tower in the centre of it that gleams with energy. Not much time later you see explosions, and hear gunfire, it’s definitely under attack. The closest way in is through the main entrance, but it’s likely heavily defended. Alternatively there looks to be a sewer pipe that seems relatively undefended.

*I run to the pipe, using my boosters to increase my speed. I draw Joy in my left hand and my hand cannon in my right as I run*

You approach the sewers, it’s undefended but gated up.

You enter the sewers and you see a long winding tunnel that seems to stretch throughout the entire city. In the distance you see a side tunnel brightly labelled in an alien language. The sound seem to have disturbed something, as there are distant roars.

*I head towards the tunnel with alien language. I also try to listen for any footsteps from the beast that made the roar*

You begin to make your way down the tunnel, but you hear the sounds of three creatures dropping down from a hole in the tunnel’s roof, they snark and growl at you.

“Woah woah woah. We don’t have to fight. Just calm down...”

They ignore you and attack, but none of them manage to get a good hit in.

*I try to dodge their attack and, as they attack me, I slice at them with my sword. I shoot at three of them once they move away from me*

You slash at one as it attacks, heavily injuring it, it is unable to move but it still lives. You shoot the two others, killing one and missing the other. Three more creatures are drawn to the noise of combat and drop down into the fight.

*i start to back towards the pipe I was heading towards. Water splits from my cape and splits to two separate streams. Each one turns to an ice spike and flies towards a separate beast, attempting to impale it. While that is happening, I shoot at two different beasts then lunge at another, going to stab it with my sword*

You continue making your way to the side tunnel, its still a fair bit away. Most of the ice spikes miss, but one ends up killing the injured creature, and another manages to heavily injure another. You follow up with a couple shots from your gun, killing the previously injured creature but misses the other. Then you lunge at one with your sword, killing another creature. The remaining three attempt to bite you, two miss but the other hits you reasonably hard. Despite this you’re still looking healthy.

*I slice/shoot(depending on what band it bit) at the creature once it bites me. The ice spikes that missed change their paths and go towards one of the creatures. I shoot at the other simultaneity.*

You slice at the one that bit you, but miss. The ice spikes redirect to another creature, two miss, another barely scratches it. You then shoot the other one, but miss. The two uninjured ones attempt to bite you again. One hits you for a moderate amount of damage, while the other bites you for a low amount of damage. Three more creatures drop from the ceiling.

“Oh my goodness go [b]away[/b]!” *I open a portal and water pours out from it. It forms a circle around me. I start to cool the water, then shoot it away from my body. The water turns into medium sized, sharp, icicles and shoots in and area around me. I continue towards the pipe*

The icicles fly around the area, hitting all but one of them. Two of them die, including the injured one, and three more are injured. You continue running towards the tunnel, you arrive at the bottom of what looks to be an exit to the city streets.

“Ugh I can’t wait to get out of here.” *I jump up out of the sewer and look around*

The creatures try to follow but they end up falling over each other and eventually give up. You continue into the city streets until you encounter more soldiers. But as soon as they see you, they are both impaled by a giant chain. Spectre emerges into view. “Curious, you are clearly not a native, so you must be from Offtopic. I suggest you do not interfere with our mission.”

“Shoulda closed the portal. What are you guys doing this time...?”

“A mission that should be very simple, our master is no stranger to these operations. Now, I suggest you leave before I force to take action.” He says, readying his chains.

“Before I choose a side, why are you waging war here?”
-
“This is no war, this is a raid. This place has something our master needs, so he’s taking it.” Spectre says, he is beginning to get restless.

“What a great reason to kill a bunch of people...” *I sound very sarcastic* “Have you tried asking nicely?”

“You think these people would understand us? We’re aliens to them, even you.”
