Make exotic drops pinnacle level, even if it's only +1.
I would love it if exotics had at least a chance to drop above your light level after you've passed 950. They wouldn't have to be +2 like the buffed pinnacle rewards but anything would be great. It makes that yellow drop much more valuable and exciting especially for anyone who can't usually get other pinnacle drops for any reason.
It could even just be on exotic weapons since they don't have any random stats to farm for like the armor does.

25 RisposteThanks for the feedback. We've just introduced the +2 pinnacle change, so we'll be watching how those changes impact the power chase over the remainder of the season. As for how you feel when an exotic drops, I've sent over the feedback and noted that they can sometimes feel underwhelming due to the lack of pinnacle power.

3 RisposteExotics should also drop with very high stat rolls. They drop so infrequently that it really sucks to get a poor stat roll. I just scrap it if the stat roll sucks.

3 RisposteExotics don’t really matter. I really only use One Eyed for both pve and pvp and I know all of you are sour towards the subject but there really is no use for anything else. Most titan exotics are just flat out terrible and now that we finally got a good one i am happy where it is i will take it. As for pinnacle drops I think that the prime engram that drops should be pinnacle so it is easier to grind the power level for certain events like Iron Banner and Nightfalls. Just my 2 cents I really don’t mind or care for exotics as much as legendaries.

Nah, not neccessary. They just made getting to max pinnacle power easy with the +2 change. Making it even easier is not the a good idea, especially since exotics are infinitely farmable via nightfalls.

They definitely nerfed the drop rates for exotics. Only consistent way to get them now are raids which no one does. Ohhh and remember before shadowkeep everyone kept saying our old exotic armor won't be useless because we can go into collections and just pull them back out as armor 2.0. Lol! Yea like everyone didn't see that farce coming a mile away. We can get them back as useless weak piles of garbage with an overall stat score of 49. So yea, now exotics drop almost never and our old ones are 100% useless and grabbing them from collections is pointless so we have to REFARM THEM ALL OVER AGAIN! And then on top of all this when we finally do get one it usually has horrible stats rolled on it or stats we don't want or a overall stats score of 53 which is less than most lengendaries. F**K you bungo! F**K YOU!

It could work, but then exotic drop rate would overall be very low, which is bad. Exotic drop rates are already pretty bad as it is, but if they dropped it even lower then we could be seeing some very big problems.

They would need to decrease the drop rate in nightfalls for this to happen so be careful what you wish for

Before the change to Pinnacle drops, I would completely disagree, but now, this is actually a good idea. It's not game breaking, but it would bring some excitement to hearing the exotic noise and watching a yellow engram fall to the ground.

I would also like exotic weapon drops that you have the catalyst for and x amount of kills recorded to be reflected on the newly acquired exotic. It’s annoying to have to infuse a sunshot into another sunshot purely because of the kill tracker.

Now that pinnacles are +2 Exotics being +1 sounds perfect.

Before that kind of flatearther logic, don’t you think it’d be nice if Bungie added mods to all exotic weapons, and to all other weapon class? You know, so we can play the game, and then grind for power. Also, nobody cares about how small your pen is.

Would be nice indeed...but since you can farm exotics in the Nightfall I guess it would be 'too easy' for the dedicated hardcore gamer to reach 960 through that method 🤷♂️

I’d say a plus 1 would be fair. At 950+ light, getting exotic drops are as useful as Prime Engrams.

25 Rispostepeople still chase power level that doesn't really mean anything? I quit chasing it a long time ago and have 10x more fun than I when used to chase it. I only chase it for the activities that apply to me. IB is a perfect example of how little power matters. Try and do damage to a 950 enemy at 890 power, then go into IB at 890 and go up against a 950 player. Power has been meaningless accept as an entry requirement for a long time. We never truly get powerful.

Pinacle drops are for highly focused players to chase something when hit 950 cap. Slowly progress, but progress. And just marginal effect, becouse you can chase just artifact power. For most of player base absolutelly irrelevant. With current changes it invalidate that grind little bit for that dedicated hardcores, especially that over 950 powerfull drops at your power, so you can easily fill gaps from your pinacle drops. So guess that those HC players have nothing to chase in week from now.
