The invading is what gives the game tension and stakes. Otherwise it’s just a mob melting simulator.

But some of the best PVE gear is locked behind PVP content. As are some of the only ways to increase your Power in the first week of a season. If I could never touch PVP, and still meaningfully participate in week one raiding with the loadout my raid team wants, this topic wouldn't exist.

You can just play the PVE elements and not touch the portal. As long as you’re vaguely aware of being invaded and hide or fight it’s not that big of a part of the game.

It's not that I want "minimal PVP exposure." I don't want any PVP at all. Any nonzero percentage of PVP experience is too much.

Other people will invade. People on my team (when I matchmake with randoms) will invade. The Invaders are killing players. Invasions are PVP. I want my exposure to PVP to be 0%.

But there are finite Powerful Rewards for week 1, and even fewer if you exclude PVP. I want to try to go for World First Raid without ever touching PVP. The current design prevents me from ever realizing this dream.

I don't expect them to cater a whole game for one player. However, I do expect them to listen to feedback. Hence, my post on the feedback forum. If enough non-PVPers chime in in agreement, maybe they'll even seriously consider something to make PVP less required (especially in the World First race).

Forges, Reckoning, Vex Offensive - there are so many horde modes already and dude wants another one because he’s too stupid to know when to bank, when to hide and when to shoot! He’d be eaten alive on a real game (Dark Souls) 😂😂😂
