Go play strikes or compete for world first raids. The whole point of gambit is to be a mix of both pvp and pve.

That's my plan! But the problem is: 1. Gear that does well in PVE is PVP-exclusive. 2. Exhausting your weekly Powerful rewards (needed to not be inhibited by Power caps in the first week of a new raid) requires PVP participation. So if you want to experience the game, PVP is unavoidable. THIS IS A PROBLEM. Having a PVE-only alternative to normal Gambit, and making it qualify for "Powerful Rewards", would allow a pure-PVE player to get the Gambit boost to Power level without forcing us to do PVP.

You realize the the pvp players are also forced to play pve activities to get weapons and gear? If you want it to work like that then every gun it the game should be made available through pvp as well. Like come on pvp needs exclusive weapons that you can only get when you’re good otherwise there’s nothing to play for as a pvp player.
