It would be so much easier to switch gears quickly for certain set ups like when playing in Gambit and you are up against hive you can swap quickly to gears and weapons that boost fire damage to them or like when you have certain gears for crusable. Also a way to auto soats ur gear and inventory either by light level or by rarity or even ability like solar and void.
