At the risk of being lambasted by 12-year-old keyboard warriors, I disagree. They are capable of great damage and are all low zoom as well which is an added nicety. Furthermore it allows for more load out flexibility. Primary shotgun, energy Hand Cannon and heavy linear fusion allows for all ranges to be covered and, with a box breathing crooked fang, deal plenty of damage to bosses. TLDR: I love the flexibility they allow for as heavy weapons.
