Most people who say stuff like this probably actually have no idea what they are doing, there is normally a lot going on behind the scenes when bungie decides to nerf stuff like this

Useless despite being one of the highest dps weapons in the game? It's still going to have that going for it, it just won't be able to sustain it for an infinite amount of time.

The black armory sniper energy weapon will out DPS it and Darci non quest weapon can out dps it. I'm confused where your data is from with the nerf either outperforms the wotw.

Remember they netfed whispered breathing first. Box breathing is better. All it had going for it was ammo.

Never said it was the highest dps, just said it is one of them, and also box breathing goes away upon a shot. Whispered breathing does not. There is a huge tendency in the destiny community to label a weapon or armor piece as useless if it is not the best option for that activity, and that mentality is something I personally think really needs to change, because weapons don't need to be the best in class in order to be viable.

True, it will still be closer to black armory energy sniper than Darci in class though. If they did the same as they did in D1 It would still be worthy of the quest. As it is I'd just buy Darci from Xur and save myself 3 weeks of trauma.

I'm still probably gonna use whisper over darci, if for no other reason only because getting 1000 precision kills with darci for the catalyst is going to be very annoying.

I have wotw its still 650 cause Darci and i was working on catalyst. Now I am moving to playing zombies on blops 4 till borderlands 3 comes out I give up on bungie, at least it was something to do between borderlands releases. It really had potential if Bungie wasnt over controlling. I mean seriously every time I actually started having fun they took my toys away. Literally.

I personally really enjoy where destiny is right now, but if you don't and you are having fun with other games more power to you. That's better than a lot of the people here on these forums can say.

I still have many triumphs to do for titles as my ISP were having issues and will get internet back wednesday. This gives me a week till the next content drop where every triumph wont just be twice as hard it will be impossible to get anyone else to help with it because it will be so hard. As it is I cannot get anyone to help me get through tier 2 reconing because no one needs it anymore.
