I’m predicting in a future update after this one, somebody will do a private crucible match. 1 vs 1. Player A will use whisper and player B will use the gallop emote. It will likely end in a draw, at which point the whisper will be nerfed again until galloping wins. My suggestion is an exotic perk where you pull the trigger of the whisper, and the gun backfires and kills you. Every time. I’m not a developer though so there might be better options out there.

Why isn’t this company good at making positive changes ( in our eyes) to improve the game. In all honestly its most likely to showcase the new content that’s dropping and would limit in game appeal if all those new guns/armor are already outclassed on by the previous content.

Honestly bungie has all destiny 2 completely finished they just released bits at a time to drip feed us when they realised whisper and a few of the exotics will demolish their annual pass end content there only way out is to nerf as much as possible that causes a threat to them because progress is key the slower the better for bungie longer life till September destiny 3 teaser.

3 RisposteAre there going to be retroactive changes to the Reckoning and other game modes which have been overcompensated for with excessive ground-pounding and spammed enemy abilities? Is that going to be in the patch notes? Some of these exotics were the only reason those encounters or game-modes were even bearable, so where is the information regarding changing those activities to be in line with these nerfs?

1 RispondiIt is apparent Bungie is going to remove infinite ammo, but there are a few ways Bungie could compromise without killing the gun if they would quit being stubborn and consider recommendations. Option 1: white nail, in addition to refilling the magazine from reserves, could generate a round to the reserves. The gun would still possess some ammo generating abilities. Option 2: give white nail a 1/4 chance to generate ammo rather than pull it from reserves. This relies more on luck, but would still give it some more utility. Option 3: Let heavy bricks give much more ammo for whisper. This one is self explanatory. There are many ways Bungie could go about this nerf making both sides happy if they would just do it.

If you go through with the nerfs bungie you are guaranteed to lose so many players and the weapons you are nerfing arent broken they are fine, I would much rather use weapons that are powerful in pve to finish raids fast and have fun doing it, than to have weak weapons to make it "challenging" and not have fun the whole point of exotics is for them to hs powerful in pve key word "pve". The ace nerf is necessary because the weapon isnt broken heres and idea nerf the auto locking toaster known as jotunn.

All you have to do is get crititcally wounded and then, before you die, swap to a sidearm in relatively effective shotgun range and land a handful of crits and with the obvious advantage you have you'll win the engagement and it will allow you to reload faster.

I understand the points of view bungie is proposing but I also feel there could be more creative ways around it. I feel like they did this to the exotics because the new upcoming content was too easily doable with them in their current state. That feels kind of lazy to me. A creative way I thought about was that we leave whisper as it is now and then we have to do this other strike and essentially sacrifice whisper in place of something else that's less powerful because the mission calls for it or going into the new raid you have to use whisper as a key to access it so we no longer are able to use it whisper in that raid. Make it so the story calls for these things rather than just giving us all this cool stuff and cool abilities and then taking it away just because.

What's really absent is the bungie loving streamers like glaad, sweatoffmyballs, mesasean, and all the big streamers that have their head so far up bungie's butt that they never dare to criticize them. Maybe if they also voiced their opinions instead of eating their shit perhaps things would be different. Alas, they don't want to in fear they wouldn't receive bungie gifts for butt kissing like moreconsole and more.
