lol it's definitely discouraging. I logged in this week, finished the first tasks today and got my blue armor, thought about doing those missions again solo and was like nah. Good on bungie for trying, it was even fun for a bit, but definitely not geared for solo play. I saw this as an opportunity to get my power level up more than 1/2 points at a time per week. However after those missions I'm not doing that again solo. I still don't understand the lack of matchmaking in this game. I'm looking forward to forsaken, but I hope they start adding more matchmaking.

"People are idiots" is not an excuse, it's an opinion. The only thing requiring playing with others is the raid if you want masterwork your legendary armor once you have it. But to get the legendary armor doesn't really require other players.
