The word is out.

So we're slowly starting to hear from people at the summit. So far it appears that warmind is more of the same. Apparently September is when the big improvments will come. Also there's rumor of a "new" game mode coming September. Maybe it's battle royale. Lol. I'm sure you'll have to buy the expansion to play this new mode. Another thing I heard mentioned is the new weapon slot changes are different from D1 and D2. That might be interesting to see. Bottom line though are you willing to wait and drop more cash for a complete game. Yes Warmind is bringing some new stuff but so did CoO which fizzled out. It appears Bungie is banking on the September expansion. So Guardians what are your thoughts? Are you willing to wait? Or is it too little too late.

The only thing I've been able to gather from the 2 attendees who's videos I've seen (Mtashed and Datto), is this: They're excited for September, assuming Bungie doesnt screw it up, as that is when the major changes are supposed to come. Both said (as we expected) that Warmind will basically be just like Curse of Osiris: it's not going to be the thing that 'saves the game.' Again, this was to be expected, as the DLC was basically done when this summit took place: there is no time to make changes. What really bothers me is the NDA. I can kind of understand why it's there (to preserve the hype that tomorrow's trailer is set to generate) but it makes this summit worthless to us as a community. Assuming this NDA remains binding after tomorrow, it means that the attendees wont be able to talk about any of it. If the point was to rebuild community trust, how can you expect to do that if you dont let the attendees talk to the community? Saying "we liked what we heard, but we cant tell you what we heard" is the same level of "I'll pass this along" that Deej and Cosmo were constantly doing that pissed everyone off. I cant find the post; I wish I could, but I cant. But I swear I saw a post on these forums from either Deej, Cosmo or dmg04 that there wasn't going to be an NDA at this summit, because the whole point was for the attendees to go back to the community and report on what was asked, what was answered.... basically what happened. Instead, all we're getting is "well, it happened, and we kind of liked it, but you dont get to know because if we say something they'll sue us for $5-milllion USD." I hope that the NDA is lifted tomorrow, becuase we as a community need to know exactly what was asked and what was answered. It's the only way Bungie can ever hope to start rebuilding trust with the community.
