Iron Banner 6v6 is being postponed
Due to a late-breaking issue that’s been discovered through internal testing, Iron Banner 6v6 is being postponed.
We’ve found that all players in 6v6 matches are returned to Orbit with ANTEATER errors when reaching certain score and timer conditions. We are actively working on a fix for this issue, but will not be able to release this by April 10.
As such, Rumble will be replacing Iron Banner next week as the featured gametype in the Weekly Crucible playlist. As noted in yesterday’s blog update, Rumble will now feature 6-player Free-for-all with additional spawn fixes coming in Hotfix 1.1.4.1 on Tuesday. Iron Banner will return as soon as we can issue a fix. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would love to know why anyone thought starting over from scratch just over a year before Destiny 2 was released was a good idea. That's my question to you, Cozmo. Who backed this plan? Who thought this up? Who negotiated this awful contact in the first place? Why was this franchise so poorly and miserably handled? I, like many others would love to know. At this point, I could care less about DLC, updates that change nothing significant or change things we didn't ask for. I would love to know the truth. I would love to hear the real reason why these terrible ideas keep getting implemented. I don't want community speculation or a moderator's input. Just facts from the source.

It's a shame that so much of the frustration and anger gets directed at you. I read some responses. This is what they mean by "kill the messenger." Figuratively of course.

I just don't understand how within 2 weeks we can change the number of players in rumble bit not in other modes.

2 RisposteWhat you guys have done to this game is truly sad. It is no longer if you can save Destiny 2, it's now if you can save the franchise or your company at all. It doesn't matter now whose fault it is. The game is dead. You ignored every bit of feedback. You knew in the beta players didnt like 4v4, we told you that the weapons were rubbish, we told you that the reward system wasnt fun, we told you that the double primary system wasnt fun and you ignored us. What is more you took us for fools. 168k players (across 3 platforms and 2 games) are all thats left playing PvP and iron banner delayed or cancelled. 270k (across 3 platforms and 2 games) playing PVE and still no fixes to loot or end game. Players have now stopped caring. Give everything at Eververse away for free. Make the next 2 DLC free and you might JUST get a workable playerbase. All you are doing now is trying to revive a corpse. You need to move on. Make Destiny 3 the game that Destiny 2 should have been. Listen to your community. If you create a great gaming experience then the money will come. Treat us like fools and try to rob us at at every opportunity and there won't be anyone left to shop at your precious Eververse.

1 Rispondithere are some instruction missing from the patch notes . At the beginning of the 6 (8) man rumble all players must move to the centre of the map , there is an emote off , or a who is most meta or a who has best shaders comp etc between the players and the lamest 2 must find somewhere to hide for the match. Please do not leave this will allow someone else in and cause a redo of the hider choosing .

2 RisposteHey Cozmo. I think this problem may be bigger than you all think. Last night I went to run a heroic strike on my hunter (I had one left to do) and the map indicator was always pointing the wrong way. We ran through the strike anyways and got to the final boss (the big vex turret thing that goes in a big circle around the room) and the plate in the center wasn’t active. We waited around for a couple minutes, tried wiping, etc. nothing worked. I went to orbit and when I tried to go to the tower I got the anteater error and was kicked. I haven’t been kicked in months, and I have never seen the anteater error (as far as I remember) Just letting you all know that the problem may not be related to iron banner only.

After I updated and went to nessus i did a few public events and felt like my character was extremely sluggish. And enemies skipping all over the place popping up out of nowhere. And other guardians not loading for the entirety of the event completely invisible. How do I fix all of this. It wasn't like this yesterday.

Cozmo, If Iron Banner is not repairable prior to the close of Season 2, will there be another option for completing the Season 2 Ornament challenges? Could Ornament progress be tied to general Crucible matches? Even if IB is repaired prior to the close of Season 2, it might be a nice gesture to expand options for Ornament progress since there may not be enough time for players to complete all challenges if, for example, there is only 1 more IB in Season 2.
