The gun really needs a buff! 1. When it comes to stats Khvostov looks more like a rare weapon than an exotic. It has slower fire rate than Suros AND lower impact. It has the worst range from the exotic autos, the worst stability and the worst reload time. The perks can improve them a little but not enough to make it an ok gun, much less an exotic. 2. If a gun has low stats is expected that it has a good perk to compensate, but Khvostov does not have any!! (And no, Litweight is not a real perk). Its ok if the gun does not have any perks whatsoever but it has to compensate with the stats. If bungie improved the overall stats of the gun (in slow fire mode) ot would be a really cool gun. But for now is just a shame that the first gun we got in the game is a joke.
