  • I cant sign in to destiny. Actually i cant even get past the clips that show before you can load your characters. I appreciate that you guys are coming out with updates more often but plaese test it out and make sure that it doesnt break our games upon release. And please dont blame your costomers for theese problems it really irritates us especially when you know the problem is from you.

  • The local network fireteam issue began with the last "patch/hotfix" it has absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH MY NETWORK SETTINGS.... This is a BUNGIE CODING issue ... I can join fireteams in each and every game that we own and play on our home network EXCEPT DESTINY... Stop placing blame on customers when it is completely BUNGIES FAULT..

      I have 45 mbs up and 2.9 down and Im hardwired. I cant play your game now. Im not tech savvy enough to enable upnp or port forwarding and not interested in learning how. Bye Bungie it was fun while it lasted. Should I go ahead and cancel my preorder of RoI?

    • Since 2.3.1 the game unfortunately has been a disaster. I don't suffer with LAN issues but am still having connection issues. No error code, but I can't match make and even while playing PVE the game goes funny. The back round music never plays, and Gameplay is terrible. I have IT specialists look at the modem, tweet it and do their thing, yet still no joy. C'mon bungie, sort it please....

    • My two friends who live together, and I have been a fireteam since launch. Recent update screwed something up for them. Can't connect to each other but only one of them can join me as long as the other isn't. Please help/fix before Rise Of Iron, I miss my fireteam Bungie.

    • We continue to have local fire team joining issues. We have tried all remedies suggested. The only thing that has worked is restating after attempting to join in network.

    • I've done everything possible and still get the marionberry error code. I am able to play other games online perfectly fine. Please fix your game. Thanks.

    • The only thing that I've had any luck with is to have all consoles on the local network reset the UPNP. This is achieved by going into settings, then network settings, and testing the Internet connection. This action resets the console connection and logs you out of destiny, but is the only was to force UPNP to work correctly and allow multiple consoles to play the same game while sharing the same IP address. This recurring issue has been the bane of mine and my wife's destiny experience.

    • We have Layer2 NETWork with over 30 pcs PS4! All Destiny players can't connect together after last update too! Please FIX it!

    • Unable to join target player, same network here as well. Unfortunately I'm just a plug in and go sort of person so these complicated changes to routers etc are beyond me and really I shouldn't have to. I just want to load up and play! Previously I have reset routers, tested internet connection and turned off and unplugged both our PS4's (that's about as far as my technical streak will go, lol). None of that worked either :-(

      We had no problems before this update. We were able to connect to each other and play. ( 2 Xbox Ones, one network.). After the update, we are sometimes able to connect, sometimes not. It's a total crapshoot. We've cleared the cache and done everything on our end. This has impacted our ability to play together, consistently. The other issue of say, red bar warriors in crucible. Getting booted out of a game by someone on the other team in Trials, etc. Those could use fixes too.

      Same issue since patch. Can't play with wife anymore which effects her triumphs. Played since day one no issue. We don't want to buy RoI until we're sure this has been fixed. Two weeks is a little unreasonable at this point. GT: dirty dishez and Tipzee Panda. Same as bungie acct

      • My husband and I are still unable to join each other. We went to our 360s Sunday and had no problem connecting with each other. We still cannot join each other on the One. It is getting old real fast. PLEASE FIX!!!

        • HahaMaximus and CravingMite3409 on Xbox one. Same house, all steps suggested; tried and failed. Intermittent success with one player on patrol and other joins, but now that is failing. Trying not to be bitter, but this has gone on long enough.

          This is not resolved, I cant even connect and get to my character selection screen after trying everything. I don't even get an error after the first canary, I am signed in and it says to go check my internet settings which are fine. Get you shit together Bungie... this is ridiculous.

        • First off I already had my internet set to zero restrictions just to play this game with both consoles in one home. Second I already contacted my ISP to verify what I already knew. They said it is a problem on your end not theirs. Oh and they also told me what I already knew opening your internet to zero restrictions is not a good idea at all. But I didn't listen to them I followed your suggestions and still nothing. Thanks for the help Seriously listen to your players and pull this dumb f ing patch. You patch the game and made a problem. So what did you solve? Nothing as usual. Again thanks for the help

        • not going to Ramp on the forums or anything but how can you guys tells us to contact our ISP when the problem is just on you game bungie. ? i have no issues when playing Smite, Killer instinct, the division, etc etc etc. i really like destiny but man you make it hard for players that are really loyal to your game to keep supporting you.

        • Amazing, we post about it on twitter and on the Xbox store "Pre-order" notifications and we get some confirmation... Anyway adding my 2c here. I'm a network engineer by trade and can confirm nothing has changed my end. 2 xbox 1 consoles behind the same NAT router both reporting open NAT. UPNP is enabled on my router (Mikrotik) and my wife and I can't join the same fireteam. Im guessing it's something to do with your implementation of STUN or TURN not liking the same public IP address for two users implemented in the beaver update. I'm using a carrier class router (as I said, Mikrotik) so there is no funny NAT. just pure old S-NAT (Source NAT, the one most people use) with UPNP for "automagic" port forwarding. Because the 2 consoles are behind the same NAT router, after it performs the S-NAT (Masquerade) both consoles have the same external IP address (but different ports) Bungie use connection data from your game to publish ports and other date to both players This is typically done via two methods. STUN or TURN (more info below) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STUN https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traversal_Using_Relays_around_NAT My guess is there was a change in their implementation that cant handle the same IP address twice and gets confused. So yeah, Waiting for a fix. Happy to work with the networking team and provide any packet captures etc to try and get this resolved. (Not ordering ROI until it is, Iron G-horn or not.)

          • Likewise with most, I had nary an issue connecting with my buddy on the same home network till after that recent update. Now, it's just ridiculous trying to join each other's Fireteam, with either notifications stating that one or the other's Fireteam is full, when it's just the both of us or just 'Unable to Join The Target Fireteam, try again later..' Not only that, we frequently get booted out with 'Contacting Destiny Servers' and I restart where I was like 15 mins ago, minus the ammo I had beforehand. AND this is just us playing separately. AND, no I do not have this issue on any other Co Op game we play together, HALO and GOW are just fine....only Destiny. I paid money for a product that I hope to enjoy with, as is...not to go around into my routers/modems just to fix a problem that's coming from a patch you [Bungie] issued [WHEN there was never an issue before till now]. C'mon Bungie, this is seriously getting ridiculous..
