We tried to before to hard reset one of our xbox's and it would allow us to join. But now it won't at all. Please get this fixed we play together pretty much everyday. Now we're to the point of not wanting to even bother with it at all because of it. I would like to play roi when it comes with him, but not if this isn't getting fixed. Then there is no point in purchasing it at all.. and I love this game. So pleassse. Fix whatever it is..

    Hi axefriendlyfun and nutpots on ps4 have not been able to join up since the patch, we used to play all the time but now the game is getting boring without the basic fireteam feature, you need to address this, andifthat means removing the patch and then reinstalling an improved version later it is about time you did it. I can however join people on other routers

    Done everything suggested multiple times and still nothing. Before the update and hotfix absolutely no issues. Now I cant join some of my friends still. We are on separate networks. Matchmaking is slow but works. Hoping for something before rise of iron. I think two weeks is already a little too long already to keep your fans waiting for a fix....Would really like to play with my brother and my friends.     Cleared cache on both consoles Double checked all settings and their all good, UPNP IS ON on my router! Both my partner and i play on the same network and regularly play together. PSN screen names Benniboy30 & PegasusStargazer. We have played together with no problems until the latest hotfix for all those beavers that were running riot with connections, since the fix however we have played once. Even when a friend is the leader and we try to join the team by clicking on that persons name we still have this issue of unable to join fireteam. No error codes are being received by either of us in conjunction with this. PLEASE HELP. We really want to do rise of iron together and this problem threatens to spoil it for not just us but for all the couples out there that game together on the same network.

    • Since the hot fix I've been on a constant red bar I've tried everything but to no avail. I've supported this game since the start but now I don't see how I can as I can't do anything in the game now.Was looking forward to ROI but will not be preordering it sadly hopefully this issue is fixed before then. Would appreciate any help or any information on this issue being resolved.

    • Hi, i am french, i have the same trouble, i am on xbox one, 2 consoles in my house, on the same local network. i play Destiny with my wife. Our gamertags : TAFFETA SLIM and EL FLO 666. Still have the same trouble : unable to join ... etc. no specific error code. All is working NAT open, uPnP enable, etc ... sometimes it works and we can join, and nobody knows why the day after its impossible to join !!! i have just try today the mDMZ process and miracle it work once ! we both quit the game and connect a second time after "unable to connect to destiny server" !!!! i cant say if it will work again tomorrow !! let cross our fingers !! but thanx to mDMZ !!

    • Cleared cache. Upnp enabled. Xbox 1 One console on wifi the other is hard wired. Can sometimes join same fireteam in CoE, nightfall and strikes. One of us is always booted (with various error codes) when attempting to play any crucible. GRA55H0PR FIREYmouse

    • My fiance and I have been affected by this for over the past 2 weeks now. We're both on Xbox Live with the gamertags "Dedhatchetman" and "Jujewbee". I have cleared the cache on both Xbox One's multiple times. I had already done everything in the troubleshooting guide a long time ago. I have had an open NAT for years and have had zero issues with any other game, not even Destiny, until now. We have never gotten any error codes, just "Unable to Join player. Please try again." Please fix this!

    • Solution found for my setup. Needed the zero configuration option selected in the UPnP. Result was repeatable. Zero config off, no joining. With it on, joining. Firewall changes had no effect. Never needed it before, so something changed on the other end. One of you IT guys might know why. I'm just a hack. For weeks I had the "Contacting Destiny Servers" spamming the bottom of my screen. Could not do a POE without getting the boot. Can't begin to tell you how much beaver I have seen in a week's time. Couldn't join a PS4 on the local network. Today, with the router change both PS4s are happy and the band is back together. New crucible match making is horrible. Way to undo a good patch, Bungie. Red bars everywhere. Bullets not registering. Total crap. But that is for a different thread. Next time Bungie just come clean. Repeat after me "I screwed up". It's okay, it happens. We will love you more for coming clean, versus the crap you have pulled the last few weeks. Don't be like those other morons. You are better than that.

    • Seriously how many forums do you need for one issue? Is this app going to shut down soon from all the new forum posts needed for the same freaking issue? Just fix it already and stop wasting our time. We paid money for a service from your company. Your company is not providing the service it promotes when purchasing the game. I didn't pay money for error codes or to reset my modem/router I paid to play a gosh darn game! So where is my refund? Or would you like to solve this problem?

      • I have cleared the caches of both my Wife's and I's PS4s. Both connections are great. "Unable to join target player' appears when only joining wife or vice versa. YO_ViperVDS and YO_FRIDGE This game is pointless if I can't play with her and my clan.

      • Rebooted modem/router and both xbox to clear the cache and tried to connect to a fire team with both xbox1 on same network..... it works again! The fix on the 9th seems to have solved the problem (at least for this household). Thx
