Hive disruptor does not cancel out phantom gift whatsoever. Check again bud. The gun doesn't need to be touched. Everyone thinks every raid Handcannon is gonna have firefly lol. Don't we have enough of these crying posts? Just comment on another stop wasting space.

He's right though. You can't have a perk on a gun that breaks another perk. That's just broken. Plus, they made the EXACT same mistake that they did with another weapon. Stop defending Bungie for being lazy.

The gun does more damage on hive majors and ultras and still makes the phantom gift perk work. None of you have it or your drinking to much while playing. Or I'm lucky as shit. Either way it's fine how it is

I have it maxed and I'll tell you, the bonus damage from Hive Disruptor counts as body damage, not precision damage. When that happens the extra ammo perk thinks you have not hit a precision hit and cancels out the bonus round. Same issue happened with Black Hammer, which is why they took off the Hive Disruptor for now. They need to figure out how to give you the extra "bonus body damage" without it interfering with your precision perks on the weapon. Go try it out.
