Is it possible to get Vanguard/Crucible commendations yet?
Bungie says that getting the new Vanguard and Crucible gear included in The Dark Below will not only require Vanguard & Crucible Marks, but also a new type of currency called "Commendations"; and that you only get these by ranking up with either faction.
I'm wondering, is it possible to earn these yet? I leveled up my Vanguard rep a couple times after the patch, and I didn't receive any Vanguard Commendations. Do you have to download the Dark Below in order to get them, or are they simply not available until December 9th when the new Legendary gear is unlocked for everyone?

i think that all past rank will not earn you any commendation , we already got gear in the postmaster packages for them.

2 RespuestasI'm going to assume there not going to be available til dec 9th. I'm thinking of getting me vanguard/crucible and factions close to levelling up and then finishing them off on dec 9th

Hopefully we will get some for the levels already earned... Since some of us are like level 85 at it.....

Yeah this new commendation deal is pure bs in my opinion. They are really going out of their way to make me feel like all my leveling was for nothing.
