More customization is imperative and would breathe much life into the Destiny experience. I agree that Light levels are a notional concept at best, and a drag-parachute on enjoying the game at worst. I'd be completely fine with scrapping them in favor of a more traditional level progression, and making the lagniappe for Raid completion interesting based on its perks rather than its level gain.
